KENDARIAKTUAL.COM, KENDARI – Sebanyak 6 tim Softball akan turut ambil bagian dalam Kejuaraan Softball Fun Game 11 sampai dengan 12 Desember mendatang di lapangan Softball Lakidende Kendari.
Ketua Pengurus Provinsi (Pengprov) Perserikatan Baseball dan Softball Seluruh Indonesia (Perbasasi) Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra) Pahri Yamsul mengatakan, Kejuaraan softball fun Game ini dilaksanakan sebagai ajang pemanasan buat para pemain Sultra yang dipersiapkan menuju PON XXI tahun depan.
Selain itu katanya, enam tim yang akan ikut dalam Fun Game kali ini akan diperkuat oleh pemain-pemain yang dipersiapkan menuju PON XXI di Aceh dan Sumatera Utara.
“Jelang PON XXI ini kami terus mempersiapkan tim Softball putra maupun putri Sultra. Jadi salah satunya dengan melaksanakan Kejuaraan Fun Game ini,”jelasnya pada kendariaktual.com, Sabtu (9/12/2023).
Pahri menuturkan, saat ini para pemain Sultra membutuhkan banyak kompetisi atau Game. Sehingga mereka terbiasa dengan situasi pertandingan.
“Salah satu keberhasilan kita meraih emas di PON XIX lalu karena tim banyak Game. Jadi kami mempersiapkan tim dengan banyak kompetisi sebelum turun di PON XXI,”tuturnya.
